Parasites can cause a wide range of serious health issues — and even lead to death. To keep your cattle and goats healthy, you need a control plan in place to eliminate and manage a variety of common internal parasites.

Safe-Guard® dewormer for goats and cattle provides the effective treatment you need. This product, which is manufactured by Merck Animal Health, is specially designed for beef and dairy cattle and goats. It contains Fenbendazole as the active ingredient, which helps prevent infection, digestion problems and health problems associated with parasites. The Fenbendazole is in a liquid suspension, making it easy to administer orally as a drench.

Safe-Guard® dewormer for goats and cattle is effective against many worm species. This oral medication makes it possible to manage barber pole and brown stomach worms as well as lung, hook and nodular worms.

Once this product has been administered, there is a six-day goat meat withdrawal and an eight-day cattle meat withdrawal. There is no milk withdrawal in dairy cattle.

When it comes to internal parasite control, Safe-Guard® cattle and goat dewormer is one of the best options available.

Safe-Guard® Directions for Use: Shake well before use. Determine the proper dose according to estimated body weight. Administer orally. The recommended dose of 2.3 mg/lb (5 mg/kg) is achieved when 2.3 ml of the drug are given for each 100 lb body weight.
