Sow outdoors in spring after last frost or indoors three weeks before last frost. Grows best in a sunny location with warm, fertile, well drained soil. Water consistently. Feed monthly with side dressing of compost or vegetable fertilizer.
Harvest before the first frost. Store at room temperature for a week then move to a cool, dark, airy spot to store into winter.
